Jurisdiction note (UK)

United Kingdom — use the formal "Letter Before Action" format. Since 2015, a prescribed information form (Form N215 / the protocol checklist) is expected before most money claims; missing it can reduce your costs recovery.

Legal note

If you charged interest, confirm it complies with usury limits in the borrower’s jurisdiction. A written promissory note strengthens enforcement.
